Bike'n'Fly Bovec - Mangart

This tour combines the thrill of cycling and paragliding: you sweat your way up to Mangart Saddle with your bike early in the morning, then fly down effortlessly, taking in spectacular views from the sky.

Starting in Bovec, you follow the Koritnica River toward Log pod Mangartom, where the first tough climbs test your legs. After a steep passage toward Predel, you reach the Mangart fork, where the true adventure begins.

The road ascends dramatically with exposed sections and carved tunnels as you climb toward the Mangart Saddle. Good fitness is essential — the entire route is uphill, gaining 1,800 meters of elevation in just 25 kilometers.

Timing is crucial: an early start from Bovec is mandatory to reach Mangart Saddle between 9:30 and 10:00 AM, when paragliding conditions are ideal. After reaching the saddle at 2,055 meters, you jump in hands of our tandem paraglider friends and enjoy an unforgettable flight back toward the valley.
