🔧 Condition & Inspection
The renter confirms receipt of the bicycle in perfect technical and safety condition (brakes, tires, lights, chain properly adjusted).
Prior to departure, the renter and provider will jointly complete and sign a brief pre-rental checklist documenting the bike's condition.
🛡️ Renter Responsibilities & Safety
The renter agrees to:
- Wear a helmet at all times (provider-supplied or personal)
- Observe all traffic laws, signals, and local regulations
- Report any malfunction or damage immediately to the provider
- Use the bicycle safely and responsibly
- Not allow any third party to use the rented bicycle
- Return the bicycle at the agreed time and location
⚠️ The renter rides entirely at their own risk. The provider is not liable for the renter's personal injuries resulting from misuse or unforeseeable events.
💰 Damage & Late Return
In case of damage beyond normal wear and tear, the renter agrees to cover repair or replacement costs as invoiced by the provider.
Late returns may incur additional rental charges at the standard daily rate.
The renter is responsible for the bicycle until it is returned to and accepted by the provider.
🚫 Theft & Loss
The renter is responsible for the security of the bicycle at all times and must use the provided lock when the bike is unattended.
In case of theft or loss, the renter must immediately report the incident to local police and the provider, and may be liable for the replacement value of the bicycle and equipment.
💳 Payment & Cancellation
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the rental start time for a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.
The provider reserves the right to cancel reservations due to unforeseen circumstances with a full refund.
📍 Delivery & Return
The bicycle must be returned in the same condition as received, clean and with all provided equipment.
