What Is a Supported Ride?
A supported ride gives you the freedom of a self-guided adventure with the peace of mind that comes from having a local team behind you. You set the pace and choose when to stop — we take care of the logistics so you can focus entirely on the road.
Whether you're tackling a multi-day route through the Julian Alps or doing a long one-way ride through the Soča Valley, our support service means your bags travel ahead to your next accommodation, a vehicle is on call if anything goes wrong, and an expert is just a phone call away.
What's Included
- Support vehicle — A dedicated van follows your route or stays nearby. Ideal if you prefer not to carry luggage, need a mechanical rescue, or simply want a safety net for long or remote stages.
- Luggage Transfer — Drop your bags at the start each morning and find them waiting at your hotel or guesthouse that evening. Ride light, ride faster.
- Route planning — We build your route around your fitness level, time available, and goals — including GPX files, cue sheets, and notes on climbs, cafés, and viewpoints.
- On-Call Phone Support — Got a puncture? Took a wrong turn? Not feeling great? Call us and we'll sort it out.
- Guide (Optional) — Add a local guide to ride alongside you for any stage. Rok has ridden every road in the valley and can share the kind of detail no GPS can give you.
