Secret Trenta Valley Climb

This is a true hidden gem in the lower Trenta Valley—perfect for riding during the high season when other roads are busy. As the climb leads to a dead end, traffic is almost nonexistent. The route starts in Bovec and heads into the Trenta Valley along the main road for the first few kilometers. Once you reach the village of Soča, you turn right and leave the main road, following a quieter route along the left bank of the Soča River. The ride begins with a short but steep kicker, after which the road eases off and you can enjoy the surrounding alpine nature and smooth, freshly paved asphalt. The peaceful environment and lack of traffic make this section especially enjoyable. Further along, the main climb begins. It is challenging but rewarding, and at the top you are greeted with beautiful views over the valley and surrounding peaks. After reaching the top, you return the same way back to Bovec, enjoying a relaxed and scenic descent.
